Limerick Garden Festival set to bloom

Launching Limerick Garden Festival at Milk Market with Mayor Gerald Mitchell, Festival stall holders, Garden Experts, Supportive organisations and Festival Organisers.

THE LIMERICK Garden Festival is set to return for a fifth year, this time with with new interactive activities.

Sunday June 16 will see the return of the festival, featuring educational and fun gardening elements for old and young.

In addition to its plant, garden, and food market and all-day expert talks, the festival will this year see new demonstrations spot and a space for Limerick Growing Communities.

Mayor Gerald Mitchell said that “it’s fantastic to have our own nationally recognised garden festival now in its fifth year right in the city centre and I would like to congratulate the organisers at the Milk Market on their work and success on behalf of Limerick City and County”.

Limerick Garden Festival will be held on Sunday June 16 at the Milk Market and is proudly supported by the Limerick Post, Fruithill Farm Organic Farm and Garden Supplies, Limerick City and County Council, Busy Bee Garden Centre, D&M Garden Centre, Hanlys Garden Machinery, Healthy Limerick, Paul Partnership, Slaintecare Healthy Communities, and the festival supports Limerick Mental Health Association.
