THE HSE is urging anyone eligible who is considering getting a Covid-19 spring booster dose to get the vaccine in the coming days as the vaccine programme will pause on Friday, June 14.

The Covid-19 vaccination programme will then conclude for the summer as it has done previously.

The vaccine is recommended for people aged 80 or older, and those age 5 or older with a weak immune system, and those living in a long-term facility for older adults.

Covid-19 vaccines are available from participating GPs and pharmacists.
