A SCULPTURE created by a Limerick artist has been restored to its former glory and rehomed at the Hunt Museum.
Jim Flavin’s Wave Form sculpture, created in 1987, has undergone restoration works and has been unveiled at its new home in the Hunt Museum.
Originally located at Merchant’s Quay, the piece was moved due to the site becoming unsuitable for it.
Unveiling the piece, outgoing Mayor of Limerick Gerald Mitchell said that “Jim Flavin’s contributions to public art in Dublin and Limerick remain enduring testaments to his talent. Today’s event is particularly special as it represents a heartfelt collaboration.”
