POPULAR father-and-daughter greyhound training duo, Pat and Aoife Coffey of Doon, have secured a famous win on their home track of Limerick.
It came courtesy of 7/2 chance ‘Carrigmore Dante’ in the inaugural running of the Time Greyhound Nutrition A4 Derby Final, and with it came a cool winner’s prize of €20,000.
The time was an impressive 28.61 seconds.
Other local stake €1,000 wins were secured by Corona Ryan of Knocklong (‘Beaming Opium’) and Kilmeedy’s Tim Gilbourne (‘Gulleen Sydney’).
