AN OPEN day to raise funds for Glin Development will be held at Glin Castle this coming Sunday (August 25).
The open day – run by Glin Development and the Glin Castle home team – will see former stronghold of the Knights of Glin and its gardens open to the public from 12pm for a €10 donation and will feature live music and entertainment, tea and coffee, and an array of cakes, sweet treats, and ice cream.
“We look forward to sharing 800 years of history, to showcasing the beautiful Neo-Classical interiors of the house, and the flourishing gardens which we work so hard to develop and maintain throughout the year,” said Catherine Fitzgerald.
