In preparation for this, McGarry has prepared diligently over the last few months under coach Fergal Quinlan.
Locally, the Brazlian Jiu-Jitsu scene has a base on the Dock Road.
“Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most dynamic, strategic, and exciting combat sports around. It is just as much a game of mental chess as it is a game of physical and technical ability,” an excited McGarry told the Limerick Post in anticipation of the championship.
