THERE were mixed results for local sides in the National Basketball Leagues at the weekend.
In Men’s Division One, big first and third quarter runs propelled Limerick Celtics to an 84-70 win over Maigh Cuilinn in Crescent College.
Elsewhere at the expense of Limerick Sport Eagles, Titans BC made it two from two with a 95-81 triumph in UL Arena.
In Women’s Division One, Limerick Celtics were made to scrap tooth and nail for their 97-94 triumph over Cleveland Rockets in Crescent College, while Limerick Sport Huskies returned home from Dublin with a 92-66 victory over Oblate Dynamos in the bag.
