FRESH from being deservedly named on the Tailteann Cup Team of the Year, young Emmet Rigter (20) will be a key figure for Newcastle West in Saturday’s Senior Football Championship semi-final against Adare in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, at 4pm (referee Liam McGaynor).
Elsewhere, the other semi involves Fr Casey’s (Abbeyfeale) and Mungret St Paul’s in Newcastle West at 3pm (referee Timmy McGrath).
NCW and Casey’s are tipped for a final showdown.
