THE Cappamore-Kilmallock Municipal District is proposing to replace 300 metres of existing footpaths and to construct 900 metres of new footpaths, drainage, and public lighting in the Ballyorgan area.

This was the response to Fine Gael councillor Tommy O’Sullivan at a recent area meeting of Limerick City and County Council.

Senior Executive Engineer with the Council, Trevor McKechnie, said that a submission has been made previously to the Limerick Active Travel office for submissions to the National Transport Authority (NTA) to consider the provision of funding for the works.
