TWO nursing students from University of Limerick participated in the recent Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland’s inaugural Student Nurse Ambassador Forum in Dublin.
The first-of-its-kind event provided an opportunity for undergraduate student nurses from across the country to meet with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland to discuss and understand the role of the regulator in supporting nursing and midwives in their careers.
UL students Amanda Breen and Sara Lee joined 19 other students from across the country at the forum, where conversations were held on the priorities for graduating nurses on the state of nursing in Ireland.
