
LIMERICK’S two representatives in weekend action in the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup exited from the prized competition.
Shannon fell to a 45-5 home loss to Nenagh Ormond in Coonagh, while, Clonmel were 43-12 winners over UL Bohemian in Annacotty.
A second-half try from David Smith was the only score by Shannon, who were 24-nil in arrears at the interval.
Weekend try scorers for Bohs were Liam Shanahan and Luca Cleary.

Garryowen were awarded two penalty tries to lead 19-17, but a late converted try for Instonians saw them book their spot in the decider.
