New homes to be developed by Council on Ballycummin Road

As part of the changes, rent for existing tenants nationwide will be brought under the current Rent Pressure Zone (RPZ) system.

20 NEW homes are set to be created on the Ballycummin Road in Raheen under plans by Limerick City and County Council.

The plans would see a three to five-storey building constructed with two five-bedroom community units, a one-bedroom community unit, nine two-bedroom units, and eight two-bedroom universal design units.

The development would also have a community room, 15 car parking spaces, a bin store, and 30 spaces for bicycle parking, as well as a new entrance.

The Council said that there are no expected negative impacts on the environment due to the development.
