GARDAÍ in Limerick said they were conducting an investigation after a firearm was discharged in the city yesterday (Monday).
“Gardaí were alerted to an incident where a firearm was discharged in the Ballinacurra Weston area, Limerick City, on Monday 6th January 2025,” said a Garda spokeswoman.
“The incident occurred at approximately 6:30pm. No injuries have been reported at this time.”
Gardai did not provide any further details and added that their “investigation is ongoing”.
