SINN Fein councillor PJ Carey has called on the local authority to complete a traffic survey on Glenfield Road in Kilmallock.

Cllr Carey wants this done with a view to installing two speed ramps between Scoil Mocheallog and Bellview estate.

He was informed at a recent Cappamore-Kilmallock district meeting that a speed survey will be conducted.

“If it is determined that vehicular speeds are exceeding the existing speed limit, the roads engineer will determine the most appropriate traffic calming measures that may be required,” the Council replied.
