LIMERICK Celtics ensured there was no danger of a hangover in the wake of the recent President’s National Cup success as Tony Hehir’s side recorded a comprehensive 122-67 Division One League victory over SETU Waterford Vikings at Crescent College.
Finn Hughes served up a double-double for the hosts with a game-high 33 points and 10 rebounds, while AJ Williams weighed in with a further 23 points and nine assists.
Elsewhere, Limerick Sport Eagles lost 93-83 at Tipp Talons. Here Alexander Carlisle delivered 29 points for Eagles.
In Women’s Division One, Limerick ran out 82-64 victors against Abbey Seals Dublin Lions in Crescent College.
