THREE organisations in Limerick providing essential services to children experiencing poverty, marginalisation, and difficult circumstances will benefit from €75,000 in grants from The Ireland Fund this year.

Part of its Heart of the Community Fund, The Ireland Fund grants highlight the desire of the organisation to address urgent needs in the community.

The organisation said that the grants are strategically allocated as a quick response at a time of year when the challenges faced by those experiencing hardship are amplified.

The funded organisations on Shannonside include Children’s Grief Centre, Irish Chamber Orchestra, and Learning Hub Limerick.
