Applications open for Small Scale Local Festival and Summer Schools funding

APPLICATIONS are now open for the Small Scale Local Festival and Summer Schools programme, which aims to support small local cultural and arts initiatives and events.

The programme, which is not available for projects and events who already receive funding from the Arts Council or Fáilte Ireland, offers a maximum amount per applicant of €5,000.

A spokesperson for the Department of Tourism said that the fund is to support “access to the arts, culture, and film sectors” and develop engagement with arts and culture by “enriching people’s live through cultural activity”.

The fund is reserved for non-for-profit festivals, summer schools, and other similar local events.
