Markets Field hosts Munster Derby

ITโ€™S Munster Derby time at the Markets Field as Treaty United host neighbours Kerry FC in the SSE Airtricity Menโ€™s First Division this Friday, 7.45pm.

Home manager Tommy Barrett will be hoping to reverse his sideโ€™s fortunes after last weekendโ€™s disappointing performance at Longford Town (2-0).

The visitors also tasted defeat last weekend when they went down 1-0 at home to UCD in Mounthawk.

The league’s youngest clubs come head-to-head for a tenth time on Friday evening with Treaty winning four of the games to date and Kerry claiming two victories, while there have been three drawn matches.

There will be a lot of familiar faces meeting up in Garryowen.

Treaty Unitedโ€™s Valerii Dolia, Trpimir Vrljiฤak and Steven Healy (loan) have all previously played for Kerry FC. Kerryโ€™s assistant manager Chris Collopy has been involved with Treaty United in the past, while Darragh Foley has lined out at academy level for the club.
