Construction of three new homes in Limerick as part of multi-million euro fund

As part of the changes, rent for existing tenants nationwide will be brought under the current Rent Pressure Zone (RPZ) system.

THREE new homes are to be built in County Limerick as part of a multi-million euro fund for disability projects in Munster.

The Department of Children, Disability, and Equality announced €27million in Disability Capital funding for disability projects in 2025. Construction for three new dwellings in Pallaskenry is included under the plan.

The HSE will also launch its first-ever multi-annual Strategic Infrastructural Plan specifically for disability services.

The funding aligns with the objectives outlined in the Action Plan for Disability Services 2024-26 and aims to make services more person-centred for the user.
