FINE Gael councillor Tom Ruddle has called on Limerick City and County Council to clean up the basketball court at Sharwood estate in Newcastle West on a regular basis.
He was told at this month’s area meeting for the district that members of Sharwood estate conduct a litter pick twice a year in association with the community sustainment officer.
“Community Sustainment are currently supplying litter pickers to the residents for the next litter picking operation for pre-Easter 2025. Limerick City and County Council will remove the bags from this operation,” Cllr Ruddle was informed.
