Limerick ladies to lead the way at Businesswoman of the Year awards

A NUMBER of outstanding Limerick entrepreneurs have been nominated at the 2025 PwC IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2025.

The annual awards celebrate Ireland’s most inspiring female business leaders, recognising their innovation, leadership, and impact across various industries.

Nominated in the Start-up Businesswoman of the Year Category are Dr Leonie Lynch, founder of Juspy, and Alice Carroll, co-founder of Foxes Bow Whiskey.

In the Entrepreneur of the Year category, Mairead Cheevers, chief operating officer and director of the Rose Clinic will be hoping to take home the gold.

Adare fashion designer Aoife McNamara is nominated in the ESG Champion of the Year section, while Sarah O’Sullivan of SOS Cookies is shortlisted for the Young Business Woman of the Year.

GORM founder and CEO Mamobo Ogoro is shortlisted for the Diversity and Inclusion Leader of the Year.

The PwC IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards is one of the country’s top events for female entrepreneurs, offering a night of networking, entertainment, and celebration.

Winners will be announced at the black-tie event at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin on April 25.
