CASTLETROY GC will host the 15th annual Club Limerick GAA Classic on May 22 and 23.
With the help of Castletroy captains Declan O’Dálaigh and Eavan Martin, county senior managers John Kiely and Jimmy Lee, the classic was launched at the weekend.
“We are delighted to stage the classic once again,” said O’Dálaigh. “It’s an honour for us to play our part with Limerick teams that have filled us with such great days out over recent years. And, I wish those teams the very best of luck over the coming weeks and months.”
Others present included club presidents Bernard Callaghan and Rachel Maher, a variety of sponsors such as Frank Hogan, Michael Gleeson, Ken Ring, Gary Howie, and Ken Ring.
Also in attendance were lead county players Cathal O’Neill, Adam English, and David Reidy.
Ever-enthusiastic Club Limerick chairman Seán Scanlon said there are a limited number of team places available, and information is available by email contact to [email protected].
“Thanks to so many who have supported our classic over the years, and let’s hope, with God’s blessing, we can all look forward to a couple of great days’ weather-wise soon,” said Scanlon. “The classic is a huge element of our fundraising each year, crucial to the support of our county teams.”
