ENGINES will be revving on Shannonside this Saturday (May 3), as a spectacular display of rare and vintage vehicles pulls up at St Mary’s Cathedral.

Returning for the Riverfest weekend, Cars at the Cathedral will take place from 4pm on Saturday, offering an opportunity to explore a stunning collection of rare and vintage cars and motorcycles from the earliest horseless carriages right up to the latest supercars.

Visitors can also explore the Cathedral’s interior, where a collection of fascinating memorabilia will be on display, organisers have said.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Children’s Grief Centre and Limerick Island Community Partners.
