Limerick students embark on visit to EU

The students made the trip to Brussels recently.

A GROUP of fifth year students from Crescent College Comprehensive in Limerick made a visit to the European Parliament.

The politically-minded students were hosted on the trip by Ireland South MEP Seรกn Kelly, who said that itโ€™s โ€œalways a pleasure to welcome bright young minds to Brussels.โ€

The students took part in a series of EU-focused activities, including a guided tour of the Parliament building and briefings on the legislative process.

Kelly praised the groupโ€™s curiosity and engagement throughout the day, noting that โ€œthey asked thoughtful questions, and itโ€™s clear theyโ€™re eager to learn.
