Limerick students embark on visit to EU

The students made the trip to Brussels recently.

A GROUP of fifth year students from Crescent College Comprehensive in Limerick made a visit to the European Parliament.

The politically-minded students were hosted on the trip by Ireland South MEP Seán Kelly, who said that it’s “always a pleasure to welcome bright young minds to Brussels.”

The students took part in a series of EU-focused activities, including a guided tour of the Parliament building and briefings on the legislative process.

Kelly praised the group’s curiosity and engagement throughout the day, noting that “they asked thoughtful questions, and it’s clear they’re eager to learn.
