SYLVIA Oโ€™Donnell of Herbertstown rode just her third winner when Hemight, a 14/1 shot, won the second division of the eight-furlong handicap at Gowran Park, Kilkenny.

The four-year-old Hemight is trained by her dad Pat.

He is owned by the Hemight Syndicate.

Up north, the father and son team of Charles and Philip Byrnes (Ballingarry) took the two-mile three-furlong maiden hurdle with Youlita at Downpatrick.

A very well-supported 8/15 favourite, the six-year-old led at the final hurdle to beat Ian Donoghueโ€™s 9/2 chance Sea Of Doubt by a length and a half.
