What’s On in Limerick: May 15–21 – Theatre, music, exhibitions, Bike Week activities, and more

Newry thrash metal band Gama Bomb bring their high-energy show to Dolans Kasbah this Saturday, May 17. Since forming in 2002, Gama Bomb have carved out a cult following with their signature blend of blistering classic thrash, tongue-in-cheek humour, pop culture references, comic book flair, and razor-sharp political commentary. The band’s latest project, Gama Bomb – Survival of the Fastest, is a documentary chronicling their wild journey to perform at France’s legendary Hellfest — often dubbed the "Glastonbury of heavy metal." The film is as much about their relentless drive as it is a tribute to two decades of friendship, DIY spirit, and their trademark mix of wit, warmth, and irreverent fun.
