A PEDESTRIAN who was knocked down in a crash outside University Hospital Limerick this morning didn’t have far to go to be seen by doctors.
The man, described by Gardaí as being in his 30s, was hit this Thursday morning (May 15) close to a pedestrian crossing outside the Dooradoyle hospital at around 9am.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, taking the man a few short metres to UHL where he was seen by medical staff “as a precaution”.
Gardaí said that “investigations are ongoing” into this morning’s incident. The extent of the man’s injuries, if any, is unknown.
