
A PEDESTRIAN who was knocked down in a crash outside University Hospital Limerick this morning didnโt have far to go to be seen by doctors.
The man, described by Gardaรญ as being in his 30s, was hit this Thursday morning (May 15) close to a pedestrian crossing outside the Dooradoyle hospital at around 9am.
Gardaรญ and emergency services attended the scene, taking the man a few short metres to UHL where he was seen by medical staff โas a precautionโ.
Gardaรญ said that โinvestigations are ongoingโ into this morningโs incident. The extent of the manโs injuries, if any, is unknown.
