Man being treated following crash outside Limerick hospital

A PEDESTRIAN who was knocked down in a crash outside University Hospital Limerick this morning didnโ€™t have far to go to be seen by doctors.

The man, described by Gardaรญ as being in his 30s, was hit this Thursday morning (May 15) close to a pedestrian crossing outside the Dooradoyle hospital at around 9am.

Gardaรญ and emergency services attended the scene, taking the man a few short metres to UHL where he was seen by medical staff โ€œas a precautionโ€.

Gardaรญ said that โ€œinvestigations are ongoingโ€ into this morningโ€™s incident. The extent of the manโ€™s injuries, if any, is unknown.
