FIANNA Fรกil councillor Catherine Slattery wants bins placed along Bloodmill Road and Childers Road.
According to Cllr Slattery, there is only one bin in sight between Roxboro Roundabout and the new Lidl store on Bloodmill Road.
Two new litter bins, the City East representative was informed, have just been provided on the Bloodmill Road as part of the recently constructed road realignment scheme.
Liam Browne of the Council’s Transportation and Mobility Directorate pointed to a further three litter bins at the junction of Childers Road/Bloodmill Road, the bus stop at Childers Road outside the Limerick One Shopping Park and on Childers Road adjacent to Kilmallock Roundabout.
