Strong entry for Over 40s tournament

TWENTY clubs have entered for the returning Limerick Over 40s Charity Tournament at Pearse Stadium on June 21/22.

The launch will take place at Janesboro FC next Monday (8pm), and organisers say it’s imperative that all clubs be represented.

Here the draw for both the Cup and Shield competitions will be staged.

Cup teams (Christy Ryan Memorial Cup): Athlunkard Villa, Ballynanty Rovers, Corbally United, Geraldines, Granville Rangers, Janesboro, Hyde Rangers, Mungret Regional, Prospect/Priory, Regional United, Southend United, Star Rovers, Polonia Limerick, Summerville Rovers, Fedamore Villa, Shelbourne.

Shield Teams (Joe Norris Memorial Shield): Carew Park, Pike Rovers, Kennedy Park, Lough Derg.

Over the years, the Tournament has raised over Є350,000 for local charities.
