GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Newcastle West over the weekend.
Emergency services attended the scene at 1:30 am on Sunday, May 25.
A man in his 30s was brought to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious but non life- threatening injuries.
A number of videos have been widely circulated on social media of a the incidents.
Anyone who may have been in the Newcastle West area between 1.15am and 2am on Sunday 25th May 2025 is asked to make contact.
Gardaí are also appealing for anyone with camera footage, including motorists with dash-cam footage from the area at this time, to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
