
LIMERICK people are being invited to have their say on what will be a generational investment for Limerick, the Cleeves Riverside Quarter (CRQ) development.
The development is in its first phase, and will 500 residential and student accommodation units.
Ahead of the submission of a planning application for the project this September, Limerick Twenty Thirty (LTT) is inviting members of the public to share their views on the proposed scheme.
Two days of non-statutory public consultation will be held by LTT on Wednesday, June 4 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Thursday, June 5 from 12 pm until 2 pm.
The Project team will be there on both days to take members of the public through the plans, consisting of approximately 230 residential units and a further 270 purpose-built, professionally managed student accommodation units.
It will also include around 300sqm of commercial space, a crรฉche, enhanced public realm with riverside landscaping, and proposed uses for the adjacent Shipyard site.
The estimated โฌ400 million project already has โฌ35m in funding in approved under the Urban Regeneration Development Fund (URDF).
It will be developed over a six year timeframe and will be the largest inner-city project ever undertaken in Limerick and one of the largest in the State.ย
