LIMERICK people are being invited to have their say on what will be a generational investment for Limerick, the Cleeves Riverside Quarter (CRQ) development.
The development is in its first phase, and will 500 residential and student accommodation units.
Ahead of the submission of a planning application for the project this September, Limerick Twenty Thirty (LTT) is inviting members of the public to share their views on the proposed scheme.
Two days of non-statutory public consultation will be held by LTT on Wednesday, June 4 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Thursday, June 5 from 12 pm until 2 pm.
The Project team will be there on both days to take members of the public through the plans, consisting of approximately 230 residential units and a further 270 purpose-built, professionally managed student accommodation units.
It will also include around 300sqm of commercial space, a créche, enhanced public realm with riverside landscaping, and proposed uses for the adjacent Shipyard site.
The estimated €400 million project already has €35m in funding in approved under the Urban Regeneration Development Fund (URDF).
It will be developed over a six year timeframe and will be the largest inner-city project ever undertaken in Limerick and one of the largest in the State.Â
