MAYORSTONE Garda Station will have shorter opening hours from June 9, to allow for more Gardaí on the beat and on patrol in communities.
The Garda Press Office announced that opening hours of the public office at Mayorstone will now be 10am to 2pm on Monday to Saturday. Sunday hours will remain unchanged from 10am to 1pm.
Henry Street Garda Station and Roxboro Road Garda Station will continue operating a 24/7 public office service, providing round-the-clock accessibility for the public for administrative needs.
The Garda Press Office said that “it’s important to note that Garda visibility and availability in communities are not limited by the public office opening hours”.
