LIMERICK projects were allocated over €600,000 through the Community Recognition Fund (CRF), administered by the Minister for Rural and Community Development.

Projects receiving Community Recognition Funding include:

  • €70,000 for the installation of a modular building at Ballybrown Community Centre
  • €50,000 for the installation of a community playground at St Patrick’s Boys School
  • €125,000 for the installation of a Multi-Use Games Area Astro Turf pitch at Galbally Community Council
  • €144,249 for a Sensory Playspace at St John’s Girl’s & Infant Boy’s School; €54,239 for the upgrade and installation of a box-up facility at Mungret Park Soccer Pitch
  • €50,000 for the upgrade of the entire flooring infrastructure at Dóchas Midwest Autism Support
  • €50,540 for floodlighting at Kennedy Park Pitch, LCCC Sports and Recreation, and €61,350 for a basketball court at Limerick Sports Partnership.
