A FIREARM stolen from Kilmallock, County Limerick, is the subject of a Garda investigation.

The firearm could potentially be used in criminal activity, Gardaí have warned.

Licenced firearms holders are reminded they must use a trigger lock, disassemble the firearm, and securely store the parts separately.

Those who are licenced to hold three or more firearms are further reminded that they must store them in a locked gun safe that is bolted to a solid wall.
