A NEW track record over 350 yards was set at Limerick by Stonepark Browne in the second round of the Faypoint Sean @ Stud Treaty Cup.
Owned by Michael O’Dwyer of Ballyneety and trained in Tipperary by Michael O’Donovan, ‘Browne scorched round in 18.12 seconds.
He was returned at odds of 9/4, and this fast son of Malachi and Coolavanny Ella is now the leading fancy to win out the competition.
Meanwhile, the Time Derby final is the feature at the venue next Saturday, 7.40pm onwards.
