The Ghost of Richard Harris screens at Belltable

Belltable - Friday July 4.

BELLTABLE will host a special screening of The Ghost of Richard Harris on Friday July 4 at 6pm, marking the launch of a landmark exhibition at the Hunt Museum.

The one-night-only event will open with an exclusive Q&A session featuring the documentary’s director Adrian Sibley and acclaimed actor Jared Harris, son of the legendary Richard Harris. Together, they will share personal insights into the making of the film and reflect on the extraordinary life and career of the Limerick-born star.

The screening of The Ghost of Richard Harris – a poignant and revealing portrait of the Limerick-born star – is a highlight of the public programme celebrating the launch of the Hunt Museum’s major summer exhibition. The exhibition will explore Harris’ journey from a young boy in Limerick and Kilkee to an international acting legend, through a collection of artefacts, film memorabilia, photographs, and immersive displays.

“This event brings together storytelling, film, and family heritage in honour of one of Ireland’s greatest talents,” said Teresa Crowley, Director at the Hunt Museum. “It’s a rare opportunity to hear firsthand from those who knew and understood Richard best.”
