The Saw Doctors join Docklands festival lineup

The legendary Tuam rockers The Saw Doctors will make a triumphant return to Limerick for a headline performance at Live at the Docklands on Friday, August 15.

Known for their infectious energy and heartfelt songwriting, The Saw Doctors continue to thrill fans across generations with their iconic hits and high-octane live shows.

Hot off the back of a massive show at Musgrave Park in Cork, The Saw Doctors are riding high on a wave of renewed acclaim and fan adoration. Their 2023 comeback was nothing short of spectacular, with packed-out shows in London, New York, and a massive homecoming in Tuam that marked their return to the stage after a five-year break.

Formed in Tuam, Co. Galway in the late 1980s, The Saw Doctors were discovered by Mike Scott of The Waterboys and quickly rose to prominence with the record-breaking single I Useta Lover, which spent nine weeks at number one in the Irish charts.

Led by original members Davy Carton (vocals) and Leo Moran (guitar), the band’s current lineup includes Anthony Thistlethwaite (saxophone), Rickie O’Neill (drums), Pearse Doherty (bass), Kieran Duddy (keys), Noelie McDonnell and Tommy Carton (backing vocals).
