THERE was a full house at the Millennium Theatre, TUS, as 20 students celebrated a milestone achievement as the first graduates from the university’s certificate in inclusive employment.
The course is tailored for adults with intellectual disability and is a collaboration between TUS, Employability Limerick, and The Brothers of Charity.
The certificate in inclusive employment aims to enhance students’ employment prospects while fostering partnerships with disability support services, employers, and employment agencies.
Students received places on the course from services such as Avista, Voice, and Rehab Care. The course is funded through POBAL.
