RATHKEALE’S Liam Chawke fared well at the Tandragee 100 Road Races, staged at the famed County Armagh circuit at the weekend.
He took to the surface on board the Chawkie Racing Supporters Club 600 and 1000cc machines, as well as the TH Supertwin.
One of the standout moments of the weekend was Chawke starting on the grid just ahead of the legendary Michael Dunlop.
He held his own and led the circuit for several laps before Dunlop finally got by, a thrilling moment that made for fantastic racing and a proud memory for Chawke and his team.
Dunlop emerged the overall winner.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Liam representing the team and our sponsors at such a high level. His professionalism on and off the track continues to impress, and he does a brilliant job of showing exactly what the Chawkie brothers (Liam and James) are made of: strong, skilled and full of heart,” commented Eva Mullen, Boss-E Racing.
