LIMERICK based singer-songwriter-producer Jenny Räisänen will release her new single ‘Purple’ on July 11. Described as a cinematic indie rock track about resilience, connection, and refusing to give up, the track tells the story of two people who refuse to break — choosing connection and defiance over fear. The track draws sonic inspiration from the likes of Garbage, Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, and The Cranberries.
Originally from Finland, Jenny holds an MA in Songwriting (First Class Honours) from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Pedagogy from the Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Finland). The songwriter was nominated for the Film Sync Award 2025 for her song Breathe.
