Cllr seeks details of access to fobs for retractable bollards

SOCIAL Democrats councillor Elisa O’Donovan wants details of who will be given access to fobs for retractable bollards to be placed at junctions of Summerville Avenue/South Circular Road as part of the Active Travel Scheme in the area.

In response to Cllr O’Donovan at the June Metropolitan District meeting, the Council said the Active Travel Project Design Team, in collaboration with the National Transport Authority, is currently conducting a review of access related to the fobs for the retractable bollards associated with the South Circular Road Active Travel Scheme.

“This process is crucial to balance the needs of local residents, while maintaining the effectiveness of the Active Travel Scheme,” said Sean McGlynn of the Council’s Transportation and Mobility Directorate.
