Property prices on the rise in Limerick

The proposed new development would include 10 three-bedroomed, five-person maisonettes - which are self-contained flats or apartments often spread over two floors, with their own internal staircase and a separate entrance directly from the street.

PROPERTY prices in Limerick have risen by €10,000 during the second quarter of 2025.

That’s according to the latest MyHome Property Price Report, in association with Bank of Ireland, which also showed the median asking price for a property in the county is now €285,000.

This means prices have risen by €25,000 compared with this time last year. Limerick City prices have seen an 11.2 per cent rise compared with this time last year, up to €178,000.

Asking prices for a three-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €12,000 over the quarter to €280,000, while the asking price for a four-bed semi in the city rose by €15,000 to €355,000.

There were 388 properties for sale in Limerick during this time – an increase of 24 per cent over the quarter.
