SUNDAY July 6 saw the return of the annual Wild Geese Parade, led through Limerick City by Band 1 of the Defence Forces.
The parade included many members of veterans associations, reenactors, and local community groups.
The march was followed by the festival’s annual flag-raising ceremony, supported by the 12th Infantry Battalion of the Defence Forces at the UN Peacekeepers Memorial.
