
THE Limerick Wild Geese Festival in association with Hennessy and Twilight Thursdays, brought some of Ireland’s best lyrical geniuses and storytellers on a musical trail around the city to Mother Macs, Mickey Martins, The Commercial and Record Room.
Honouring Irish traditional storytelling and hip-hop’s roots with Hennessy at the center. World class performances from God Knows, MuRli, Hazey Haze, Strange Boy and Meadhbh Hayes, showcased Limerick’s gritty spirit and thriving music scene making it the perfect home for this festival with raw lyrical talent, beats, and urban artistry.
Hennessy being one of the Wild Geese families who settled in France, Hennessy has pioneered exceptional cognac since 1765, becoming a staple in hip-hop culture and beyond. The brand continues to champion creativity and authenticity worldwide.
The Limerick Wild Geese festival offers artistic and educational entertainment for all as part of an annual celebration of the friendship between Ireland and France. It is organised by Alliance Française Limerick, one of the city’s longest running non-profit organisations, with the support of the French Embassy, Limerick City & County Council, about 30 local organisations, businesses and community groups as well as a number of institutional and corporate sponsors.
