Whether you’re in the mood for live gigs, cultural events, or family-friendly fun, there’s something for everyone. Here’s your guide to what’s happening from Thursday July 10 to Sunday July 13.

THURSDAY 10

The Koala Who Could – Lime Tree Theatre
This heart-warming story follows Kevin the koala as he discovers the courage to embrace change. Featuring puppetry, original music, and playful storytelling, the show offers an uplifting experience for audiences of all ages.

Katie Boyle (Comedy) – Dolans
After a sold-out Irish tour in summer 2024, US-based Irish comic Katie Boyle returns home with her new stand-up show, Roe v. Wade Versus Katie. The show tackles abortion rights, life in America, Saint Brigid, long-distance relationships, and Irish history with Boyle’s signature dark humour.

Sapphic Social Evening – Treaty City Brewery
An inclusive and creative evening. Paint something of your own choice or use flash sheet prints created by a tattoo artist.

From ‘Dickie To Richard’ – Richard Harris: Role Of A Lifetime – The Hunt Museum
This exhibition celebrates Richard Harris’s remarkable life and career, including iconic roles in This Sporting Life, Camelot, The Field, Gladiator, and Harry Potter. It also delves into his poetry, music, and love for Kilkee and rugby.

Explore Limerick: Stories, Streets & Heritage – Arthur’s Quay Park (12 noon daily)
A guided walking tour through Limerick’s historic quarters and landmarks including St. Mary’s Cathedral, King John’s Castle, and the Treaty Stone.

Thirsty Thursday with DJ Kimmi – Mickey Martins

FRIDAY 11

Aftershock – The Old Quarter

Pride Dance Party – Dance Limerick (6:30 pm)
A social evening with dance games, movement workshops, and music by Tom Prendergast. A chance to move, mingle, and celebrate Pride.

Treaty United vs Cobh Ramblers – Markets Field
Local football action under the lights at Limerick’s home ground.

The Wolfe Tones – Thomond Park Stadium
With a musical legacy spanning over six decades, the legendary folk group brings their powerful set to Thomond Park.

Pure Gay Cabaret – Record Room
Hosted by Laura LaVelle, this variety show features drag, burlesque, music, and comedy with acts like Joe on the Dolan, Frida Nip, and more. DJ Candy Warhol takes over the afterparty.

Print with Pride – Limerick Printmakers (4:15 – 6:15 pm)
A free screen printing event. Bring your own t-shirt, jumper, or tote bag—or use the paper provided—to create your own custom Limerick Pride print.

‘Twas the Night Before Pride – Mickey Martins
A pre-pride celebration with street performers, guest DJs, and camp classics.

Brian O’Brien – Blue Bar
Live music to wrap up the evening in a relaxed setting.


SATURDAY 12

The Script – Thomond Park Stadium
With their latest album Satellites out since August 2024, The Script return for what’s set to be one of the biggest gigs of the summer.

Weekend Art & Craft – 19 Nicholas Street
Local artisans and crafters showcase their work throughout the weekend.

Limerick LGBTQ Pride Parade 2025 – City Centre (Parade at 2 pm)
Celebrate Pride with this year’s Grand Marshal Tonie Walsh. The parade kicks off at 2 pm and returns to the Hunt Museum for speeches and family-friendly entertainment from 3 to 6 pm.

Limerick Pride: The Climax Party – Dolans
