A LIMERICK law-firm has been crowned Irish Law Firm of the Year at the LEAP Irish Law Awards 2025.
MHP Sellors Solicitors on Glentworth Street in Limerick City nabbed the national award, which it said is a significant recognition for the firm and for legal practice in the Mid West.
The major win came as just one of three awards secured by MHP Sellors on the night, which it said was a firm acknowledgement of its expansion across Limerick and Clare, its investment in technology and systems, regulatory and compliance track record, and support for the not-for-profit and charity sectors.
Sellors managing partner Stephen Keogh said: “We are delighted to see our team’s efforts acknowledged at a national level with this top prize. This award coincides with the 10th anniversary of the merger of FB Keating & Co and Connolly Sellors Geraghty Solicitors in Limerick and three years since the subsequent merger with Michael Houlihan & Partners in Ennis.”
These latest awards follow ongoing growth at MHP Sellors since the merger of Michael Houlihan & Partners and Sellors LLP in 2022.
The firm now operates with over 50 staff across offices in Ennis and Limerick, and is the largest legal practice in County Clare and the most established dual-county firm in the region.
The awards also recognised other leading figures and institutions in the legal sector, including former president Mary Robinson, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the University of Limerick School of Law, named Law School of the Year 2025.
Now in its 13th year, the LEAP Irish Law Awards recognises excellence across the legal industry, shining a spotlight on those who have shown exceptional dedication, skill, and service to the profession.
