New Ryanair cabin crew jobs at Shannon Airport

Shannon CEO Mary Considine welcomed the new jobs injection.

RYANAIR has announced 35 new cabin crew positions for its Shannon base, as part of its ongoing growth at the Mid West gateway.

And the CEO of the Shannon Airport Group has again called for the government to draw up an aviation policy to support balanced regional growth.

Ryanair were to host two recruitment events for the positions, one in Shannon on Tuesday July 15 and one in Limerick on Wed July 16, for candidate to receive a detailed presentation about Ryanair, its operations, and what it means to be part of the airline, along with a sped-up application process for the new roles.

Welcoming the announcement, Mary Considine, CEO of The Shannon Airport Group, said she was “delighted to welcome Ryanair’s jobs announcement for Shannon Airport which comes on the back of their expansion plans for the airport announced last month”.

“Ryanair’s further expansion at Shannon Airport of a fourth based aircraft, three exciting new winter 2025 services from Shannon Airport to Madrid, Rovaniemi (Lapland), and Madeira, and increased frequencies on six existing routes, offers even greater choice for our passengers and strengthens Shannon’s position as a key gateway to and from the West of Ireland.

“Ryanair’s investment is a powerful endorsement of the potential of Shannon, a vote of confidence in the market here, and these new jobs are a testament to the progress we’ve made growing passenger numbers,” she said.

The Shannon CEO added that “we’re very ambitious for the airport and the Group. We see a huge potential for growth and believe there is a real opportunity for Shannon Airport to lead the way in rebalancing the national landscape.”

“A new aviation policy that recognises and supports the strategic importance of Shannon Airport to the country’s economy is now required.”

Ryanair’s Director of Talent Mark Duffy said: “We are delighted to announce 35 new cabin crew positions at our Shannon Airport base to support our busy Summer 2025 operations.”

“As Ireland’s and Europe’s No 1 airline, these cabin crew opportunities offer candidates the chance to secure the best cabin crew jobs in aviation, where hard work is rewarded with fast-track career opportunities, discounted travel, and more.”
