MINISTER Patrick O’Donovan welcomed news that procurement is soon to begin on a new weekend evening bus service for a number of County Limerick towns and villages.
“Once established, this bus route will serve the people of Kilmallock, Bulgaden, Martinstown and Kilfinane.
As this is a new service, it will need to go to procurement with a hopeful start date of September 2025.”
The new service is expected to provide connection to Kilfinane and onward connectivity to Kilmallock and Charleville and extended villages in the area.

There is also the capacity for the new service to connect up with Bus Eireann route 329 to Limerick City.
