A LIVELY crowd turned out in Croom for the annual Summer Bingo Bash.
Held at the Croom Sports Hall, and hosted by the Croom Community Development Association, the event drew young and old for a bit of bingo fun and, organisers said, as a “thank you to the many loyal bingo-goers who support the weekly games throughout the year”.
Mango martinis and strawberry margaritas were the order of the day, while prizes from chocolates to bottles of perfume. But, said local bingo regular Kay O’Donovan, “it’s not just about the prizes, it’s the sense of community here that keeps us coming back”.
