
A MAN has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Limerick yesterday (Sunday) evening.
The man was injured when a van he was traveling in left the road at Croagh, County Limerick, shortly after 5pm on Sunday.
The injured man was removed from the scene by air ambulance.
He was being treated for serious head injuries at Cork University Hospital.

No other vehicle was involved.
A Garda spokesman said that “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision at Croagh, County Limerick”.
“The collision occurred at approximately 5:15pm and involved a van.
“A man, aged in his 30s, was transported to Cork University Hospital to be treated for injuries.
“No other information is available at this time,” Gardaí concluded.
